Fly Fishing
Nothing matches the thrill of watching a Rainbow or Brown rise in crystal clear water to meet your dry fly! Our innkeepers can assist you whether you're a seasoned fishing "Sage" or a novice just wanting to wet a line in one of Colorado's pristine trout waters. Get a locals insight from John on stream conditions, flies and tactics for our wily Rainbow, Brown and wild Greenback Cutthroat trout. We can arrange guided trips, lessons and equipment rental. Add a gourmet picnic lunch and turn a "Great Day" on the the water into an extraordinary fishing outing. You won't need to travel far, fish 300 yd's of Boulder Creek for native Browns right on our property! Or venture a little farther and experience the World Class trout fishing of Rocky Mountain National Park and our many "Gold Medal" streams and rivers. We can arrange trips or lessons with an "Orvis Endorsed" outfitter our one of several other experienced shops and guides in the area. Guided fishing opens the door to fishing many fabulous "Private waters" not open to the general fishing public.
